Home is Where the Heart is Strong: An Art Therapy Experience!
What is Art Therapy? Artistic exploration with the aim of non-artistic goals, of course! At H.O.P.E we offer groups and individual sessions designed to enrich personal growth and healing. We surely welcome fun and merriment, after all, that can be a big part of growing, but our events are not arts and crafts for the sake of just being crafty (although we think that’s super cool). Our aim is to help families to bond, to offer spaces for expansion within the individual that enriches connection with others.
This group is intended to allow families to identify the foundational principles upon which each member builds and maintains their own ideas, dreams, and goals. In this exercise, each family member will create a collage of their ideal safe space or room to contribute to the families’ home model. Each family member will then bring their safe space/room and combine it with the other family members to create the family home. The overall idea that each family member is accepted, supported, encouraged in a safe environment.
- $25/one child and one adult; $5/any additional family member
- All supplies provided (Just bring yourself, your family and an open mind!)
- Pre-payment required as space is limited
- Covid restrictions applied for the safety of all who attend.
